Dedicated to the memory of Ida Phillips

We recently lost our beloved Ida to a rare and incurable form of cancer.  She was the most kind, generous, loving wife and mother, who always went out of her way to volunteer and to help others.  She always tried to smile, even in times of adversity.  Throughout her illness, staff at St. Elizabeth’s Hospice provided Mum, and us, her family, with the most amazing support and advice, both on the phone and in person.

Latterly, Mum spent the last three weeks of her life as an inpatient in the hospice where the staff and volunteers cared for her.  They were with her right to the end and they continue to support Dad and I in coping with our loss.  We cannot thank them enough for their kindness, professionalism, care and compassion; traits that are a reflection of how Mum lived her life.

The hospice do amazing work every day for people from all walks of life who are living and dying from an incurable disease.  In Mum’s memory we want to give something back to the Hospice as a mark of our appreciation.  Thank you for your donation and support.
